Learn
Listening (a dish from Madhya Pradesh): in the book, Sushil from Jabalpur describes gakkad bharta. Balls of wheat dough (gakkad) are roasted on high heat. For the bharta, brinjals and tomatoes are roasted and mixed with onion, coriander, green chilli and salt; nothing is fried. To eat, crumble the gakkad, add bharta and a spoonful of ghee.
Speaking: describe an art form, dish or craft from your area. Use sequence words and the simple present: "It is called… It comes from… First, they… Then… Finally…".
