Suraksha ghoshna: kitaab mein ek chaukidaar mohalle ko chori ke baare mein chetaata hai. Mukhya suraksha tips: raat ko aur baahar jaate samay darwaaze-khidkiyaan band karo; bachche kuch bhi sandigdh dikhe to turant bade ko batao; ajnabiyon se baat mat karo ya unse cheez mat lo; aur emergency mein police ke liye 100 (ya 112, Bhaarat ka emergency number) dabao.

Bolna: contractions saaf bolne ka abhyaas karo: I'll, it's, don't, I'm, I'd, he's, that's, we'll, they're, you're, we're, what's, can't, won't, I've, wouldn't, shouldn't, didn't. Phir saathi ke saath suraksha kyun zaroori hai, charcha karo: "I think it's important because…", "I feel it's necessary as…".

Suraksha ke sujhaav dena: sujhaav ke vaakyaansh use karo: "I think they should…", "They must…", "How about…?", "It might be better to…". Jaise: "They must lock the doors at night." "How about putting a light outside the door?"

Likhna: socho tum kahaani ke aadmi ho. Agle din padosi poochhta hai kya hua. Apne shabdon mein kahaani batao, kab, kahan, kya, kaise aur kyun ke jawaab dete hue. Shuru karo: "My wife and I were about to go to sleep last night when we heard someone…" Explore: pata karo kise phone karein agar aag dikhe (damkal, 101), koi ghaayal (ambulance, 108), ghaayal jaanwar (pashu helpline), khoya bachcha ya sandigdh insaan (police, 100 ya 112).
